4 Fijians in NRC Team of the Week

Four members of the Fiji Airways Drua have been named in the National Rugby Championship (NRC) Team of the Week following the completion of Round 2 matches in the weekend.

Two-try heroes Peceli Nacebe, Apete Daveta and Samu Saqiwa together with impressive flanker Mosese Voka have been named in the top 15 for the round.

Saqiwa showed sheer attacking power from set-pieces while Voka was a weapon at the breakdown for Fijian Drua in Melbourne and is quickly becoming the form open-side in the competition.

22-year-old Nacebe who scored a total of 20 points in their 45-24 win on Saturday after switching from fullback to fly-half is already becoming a star of the competition with four tries to his name on the try-scorers chart.

Daveta’s contribution in Melbourne was outstanding as well as the Fijian speedster worked tirelessly in the encounter and scored two great tries in their historic victory.
