Vunivalu scoops Top Try Scorer award

Fiji Bati winger Suliasi Vunivalu walked away with the Top Try Scorer award during the Dally M Medal awards ceremony in Australia last night.

The Melbourne Storm speedster who has so far scored 23 tries in the NRL also won the same award last season.

Storm’s Cameron Smith won the Dally M Player of the Year, Captain of the Year and Hooker of the Year awards.

Melbourne Coach Craig Bellamy won the Coach of the Year award while Billy Slater won the Fullback of the Year award.

Nick Cotric of Canberra Raiders won the Rookie of the Year, Nathan Cleary of Penrith Panthers won the Top Points Scorer award while the Holden Cup Player of the Year went to Jake Clifford of North Queensland Cowboys.

Vunivalu and the Melbourne Storm will face the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL Grand Final at 8.15pm Sunday.
