Volavola signs with Bordeaux-Begles

Fiji Airways Flying Fijians first-five eighth Ben Volavola has sealed a deal with French Top 14 club Bordeaux-Begles.

The 26-year-old who is part of the Fijian squad for the Europe Tour where are scheduled to play Italy, Ireland and Canada has signed on with the club until January and arrives in France off the back of an impressive Mitre 10 Cup campaign with North Harbour.

He has 19 test caps for Fiji and represented the country at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Volavola also carries Super Rugby experience having represented the Waratahs, Crusaders and the Melbourne Rebels respectively in the last three seasons.
