Drudru goal lifts Lautoka

Striker Samuela Drudru’s first half strike handed Lautoka a 1-0 victory over Manukau All Stars in their second encounter of the 2017 Pacific Cup in Auckland today.

After holding champions Nadi to a 1-1 draw last night, the Design Engineering sponsored Blues entered this fixture as favorites as Manukau All Stars suffered a 2-0 defeated to Auckland All Stars yesterday.

Lautoka missed numerous scoring opportunities in the second spell and had full control of the match.

The Kamal Swamy coached side now has 4 points from two matches and needs another positive result in its next match against AFFA Savusavu All Stars at 9.15pm tomorrow to boost its semifinal hopes.
