Fijiana bows out in semifinals

The Fiji Airways Fijiana side bowed out of the semifinals of the 2017 Oceania 7s today  after losing 24-0 to New Zealand  at the ANZ Stadium in Suva today.

The Kiwis completely dominated the match and led 19-0 at the break with Mikaela Blyde, Theresa Fitzpatrick and Portia Woodman scoring their tries.

A second half try by Gayle Broughton sealed the win for New Zealand.

New Zealand will face Australia in the final later this evening.

Australia defeated Papua New Guinea 25-7 in its semifinal clash.
