Fiji Football Association’s mid-season player transfer window opens on Monday.
The window will be open till January 31 and all clubs and district players who want to make a switch will have to make all applications within the 17-day period.
With Fiji FA already lifting the ban on foreign players, every district will be allowed to field at least three international players in all competitions including the Vodafone Premier League.
Fiji’s OFC Champions League representatives Ba and Lautoka have already signed overseas based players to boost their campaigns for the regional competition.
Former New Zealand U20 midfielder Zane Sole and Solomon Islands international Benjamin Totori have been confirmed for the Blues while another player New Zealand based player’s details are yet to be released as negotiations are underway.
Ba has recruited Toronto based Amal Singh, Troy Watson and Nathan Brown.
Suva is likely to field USP based Solomon Islands and Vanuatu students while Rewa is also negotiating with some overseas based players to join its campaign.
A number of local players are also eying a move and more details will surface as talks and negotiations begin next week.
