Fiji closes the gap on South Africa

Fiji has closed the gap on South Africa in the HSBC World Sevens Series standings and now trails by only three points.

After winning the Hong Kong 7s on Sunday, the Fijians are in second spot with 123 points while Series champion South Africa who finished third in the weekend retain their lead with 126 points.

New Zealand is now on third spot with 107 points while Argentina has moved up to the fourth spot with 90 points and Australia has slipped to fifth spot with 80 points.

USA, Kenya, England, Scotland and France complete the top 10 standings.

The next tournament will be played in Singapore on April 28 and 29.
