Suva to face Tavua in lone VPL clash

Leaders Suva will face bottom placed Tavua in the lone Vodafone Premier League fixture this Sunday at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

The Sign Supplies sponsored Whites currently have 11 points on the table, a point more than second placed Ba and third placed Labasa.

A win over the Gold Miners will see them open up a four point lead after the completion of all their Round 1 matches.

Tavua sits at the bottom of the table with only 3 points from six matches and will need a positive result in this encounter to keep its survival hopes alive.

The match kicks off at 3pm.
