Drudru cleared to feature for Lautoka

Top striker Samuela Drudru returns to local football action for Lautoka this weekend after serving his suspension and clearing his fine.

Drudru was given a 7-match suspension from all levels of football and fined NZD $7500 after he was found guilty of making a racist comment at match officials during Lautoka’s home semifinal clash of the OFC Champions League against Marist FC.

His return will be a boost for the Blues when they face Labasa and Dreketi in the Vodafone Premier League at Subrail Park as the side will be without the services of Osea Vakatalesau and Dave Radrigai.

Lautoka is currently unbeaten in the VPL after four matches and has 10 points.

The Kamal Swamy coached side faces Labasa at 1.30pm on Saturday and Dreketi around the same time on Sunday.
