Fiji tops pool, faces Canada in quarters

Fiji defeated New Zealand 27-7 in its final pool match of the London 7s this morning and progresses to the Cup quarterfinals with an unbeaten record.

The Gareth Baber coached side will face Canada in the first Cup quarterfinal at 9.58pm.

In earlier matches, Fiji overcame Argentina 28-19 and thumped defending champion Scotland 39-12.

In the other Cup quartetrfinals, USA will play Ireland at 10.20pm,South Africa will face NZ at 10.42pm and Australia will take on host England at 11.04pm.
