22 new COVID-19 infections

22 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Fiji since last Thursday.

Of the 22 new cases, 12 were recorded in the Central Division, 8 in the Western Division and 2 cases in the Eastern Division.

The national 7-day rolling average of cases as of 8th January is 3 daily cases.

The Central Division cases constitute 60 per cent of the cumulative total cases nationally, with the Western division making up 28 per cent, 4 per cent in the Northern Division, and 2 per cent in the Eastern Division.
