All sea transportation to cease operation

All sea transport will cease operation starting today due to the bad weather that Fiji is currently facing.

This has been confirmed by the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji, in consultation with the National Disaster Management Office.

They said for land transport, motorists are cautioned to be vigilant due to several roads, bridges, and crossings becoming inaccessible due to flooding.

The public is urged to limit unnecessary travel and stay home for their safety.
