A 40-year-old carpenter who was allegedly assaulted in Ba town last week died at the Lautoka Hospital on Sunday.
According to Police, the victim who was from Lavuci, Ba, was found motionless with injuries last Friday.
He was conveyed to the Ba Aspen Hospital and later transferred to the Lautoka Hospital where he was admitted in a critical condition, up until his passing.
