Better services for landowners: Vasu

The Minister for i-Taukei Affairs, Ifereimi Vasu has called on the i-Taukei Land Trust Board for better services provided to the landowners and other stakeholders.

In a meeting yesterday with the Management Board of TLTB, Vasu said there was a need for TLTB to serve stakeholders with a positive attitude so that trust is maintained at all levels of service delivery within the organisation.

Vasu said that he looked forward to working closely with the management team within TLTB in the area of its core function to ensure the Board remains relevant as an organisation.

“This is to meet what is expected of us to deliver in terms of ensuring accessibility of i-Taukei land for economic development and providing equitable returns for landowners,” he said.

Yesterday, the Management Board TLTB welcomed Vasu as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Minister for i-Taukei Affairs.

The new TLTB Chairman was accompanied by the Assistant Minister, Ratu Isikeli Tuiwailevu and Permanent Secretary for iTaukei Affairs, Mr Pita Tagicakirewa.
