A 3-year-old boy is dead after being trapped under a rolling steel gate.
According to Police, the unfortunate incident happened on 22 December in Lautoka.
The victim whilst waiting for his mother was climbing the steel gate when it fell on him.
He was rushed to the Lautoka Hospital where he was admitted until the time of his unfortunate death on Christmas eve.
Police are calling on parents and guardians to be alert of their children’s activities as they could get caught up in things unaware of the consequences and threats to their safety.
