Former Fiji Television chief executive and seasoned media industry professional Tarun Patel has been appointed the acting chief executive of the Fijian Broadcasting Corporatiomn.
FBC Board chair Ajay Amrit made the announcement during the state broadcaster’s official rebranding function in Suva last night.
The new FBC board terminated the employment contract of former chief executive Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum late last month.
Patel will start in the role from Monday.
