Car theft suspect arrested

A 31-year-old man alleged to have stolen a motor vehicle from a shopping complex car park in Makoi yesterday has been arrested.

Chief Operations Officer Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Livai Driu said the vehicle was found abandoned at a farm road in Tovata and all efforts were directed to arresting the person involved.

The suspect who is from Nausori was arrested later the same day.
