Chua impressed with Nadroga Women

National Women’s Football Head Coach Angeline Chua said she was impressed by the fitness and form of the Nadroga Women’s team during their first match against Nadi yesterday.

Although Chua doesn’t often get the chance to see these players, who hail from Sigatoka, she noted their impressive fitness levels during the ongoing Digicel Women’s IDC.

The IDC tournament has also provided a prime opportunity for scouting potential players for the Women’s National Futsal trials.

Chua, alongside National Futsal Coach Jerry Sam and the Fiji FA technical team, has been actively assessing players since the tournament kicked off.

Earlier, the Southern zone futsal trials were held at Fiji FA Vatuwaqa, but only 21 players attended.

With the IDC in full swing, Coach Sam and his team are keen to observe players and seasoned national representatives from across the nation, aiming to bolster the national futsal squad.
