Giant Fijian winger Joe Cokanasiga has been ejected from England’s 36-member squad for the Six Nations Cup which kicks off in February.
England coach Steve Borthwick has made a number of changes in his first squad ahead of their match against Scotland on the 5th of next month.
Borthwick has axed Cokanasiga, Jack Nowell and Jonny May while Ollie Lawrence failed to make it.
He has named five uncapped players in first squad George McGuigan, Northampton Saints fly-half Fin Smith and Jack Walker as Elliot Daly and Dan Cole handed recalls.
The biggest surprise comes with Billy Vunipola’s omission, who has been axed despite playing well for the Sarries over the past few months.
Borthwick said some senior players have been ousted from the team to give chance to the youth players such as uncapped duo Cadan Murley and Ollie Hassell-Collins, who have been impressive in the Premiership Rugby.
