Counting Centre is ready: Boyd

Deputy Supervisor of Elections Robin Boyd says the National Count Centre is ready to begin the task ahead of them at the 2022 General Election.

Boyd said counting officials have begun to take their posts and have put in last checks before the count begins.

“The process will be very straight forward, and they will begin counting the prepoll votes initially and later we will bring in the postal votes,” Boyd said at the Vodafone Arena today.

With voting now concluded, polling stations around the country are now counting provisional votes at their various locations with ballot boxes being transported to the National Counting Centre throughout the evening
