Social Democratic Liberal Party General Secretary Lenaitasi Duru has resigned following the Party’s decision to form a coalition with the People’s Alliance and the National Federation Party.
Duru while speaking to FijiLive said he has no intention to work with the People’s Alliance and they will be out of their minds if they approach him to join them.
“These people have been backstabbing us for the last 24 months. They must be crazy if they think I am going to come and work for them, they can go to hell,” he said.
Duru said this was a principled stand for him.
“They have been attacking us left, right and centre. I am not going to sign the Memorandum of Agreement. They can go and find someone else to sign,” he added.
