Permanent Secretary for Education, Heritage and Arts, Dr Anjeela Jokhan has resigned effective from today.
Chairman of the Public Service Commission, Luke Rokovada said Deputy Secretary for Education, Timoci Bure has been appointed to act as Permanent Secretary for Education.
He said Bure has been acting in the position with effect from 23 January 2023 when Dr Jokhan commenced her leave.
