Fiji Pearls challenged to give their best

The Fiji Pearls presented their i-Tatau to His Excellency, the President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere at the State House in Suva today.

Ratu Wiliame challenged the Pearls to remember the reason they are playing when they compete at the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa.

“Remember the sacrifices and know that the nation supports you.”

“I am really honored that you have the courage to represent Fiji and set an example for the future of netball in Fiji.”

He also urged the team to keep the dream alive for the young ladies in Fiji.

“I am confident that you will shine out there and do us proud.”

The Pearls depart for Cape Town next week Wednesday.
