Fijian community boost Fiji’s Hamilton 7s campaign

Fiji 7s captain Waisea Nacuqu said the large Fijian community in New Zealand will fuel their campaign this weekend at the Hamilton 7s.

Known to arrive in numbers whenever Fiji plays in New Zealand, Nacuqu said their expected presence has already begun to boost their morale.

“There is a large Fijian community in Hamilton, and we are definitely looking forward to their support,” Nacuqu said.

On their pool opponents Nacuqu said his team was ready for the challenge.

“We are ready to do our best, they are all tough games, but the team has been training well and ready to get to the ground.”

Fiji faces France at 8.32am in their first game before playing Kenya at 12 midday and then Samoa at 3.06pm tomorrow.
