Fijiana bows out in quarterfinals

Fijiana bowed out in the Cup quarterfinals of the Vancouver 7s at the B.C Place today after losing 35-19 to Australia.

The more experienced and superior Aussies started the match on a high note and scored three back to back tries through Maddison Levi. Katlin Shave and Faith Nathan to take a 21-0 lead.

Heleina Young managed to score for Fiji just before the break.

Shave and Tia Hinds  scored two early second half tries to seal the match although Fijiana picked up its game and threatened with two beautiful tries to Reapi Uluinasau and Raijieli Daveua.
