Fijiana XV aims for sharper decision-making

Fijiana XV’s Coach Mosese Rauluni has pinpointed decision-making as the key area of focus for their second Oceania Women’s Rugby Championship match against Papua New Guinea tonight.

Despite a victorious start against Tonga, Rauluni feels the team has more potential that could be unlocked with better gameplay choices.

“We’ll be trying out other players who didn’t play against Tonga in today’s match against PNG,” said Rauluni.

He explained that rotating the squad would help assess the team’s depth and prepare for tougher challenges ahead, particularly the upcoming match against the formidable Samoan side.

“We’re focusing on when to pass and when to hold onto the ball, as well as maintaining good field position. This will be crucial not just for today but especially in our next game against Samoa, which is going to be a tough match,” said the coach.

The Fijiana XV will take on PNG at 7.30pm.
