Final handover of election results delayed

The handing over of the final results tally of the 2022 General Election by the Fijian Elections Office to the Electoral Commission has been delayed.

The event which was initially scheduled to take place at 11am and shifted to 2pm, has now been further shifted to 4pm.

The FEO says it is in the process of quality assurance of the results and is allowing time for parties to peruse the results so that if they have any issues they can raise the same with them.
