Financial boost for Fiji’s OCL representatives

Digicel Fiji and the Fiji Football Association have come together to support Fiji’s representatives to the upcoming OFC Champions League, handing over a sponsorship cheque of $40,000.

Rewa FC, set to compete in the OFC Men’s Champion League in Tahiti this May, received $30,000, while the Labasa Women’s team was presented $10,000 for their participation in the OFC Women’s Champion League in Solomon Islands.

Fiji FA Vice President Yogeshwar Singh commended Digicel Fiji’s support for local sports teams, enabling them to participate in international competitions.

He said that these sponsorships do more than just offer financial aid; they also elevate the teams’ visibility and help the sport’s growth within the community.
