The Fiji Airways management board briefed Civil Aviation Minister Viliame Gavoka and Assistant Minister Alitia Bainivalu on the organisation’s processes and areas of improvement yesterday.
Attorney-General Siromi Turaga was also part of the Government delegation in Nadi.
Gavoka told the management and staff of the national carrier that they are responsible for regulating aviation in the country and safety is very much a huge part of the equation in the tourism industry.
He thanked them for the hard work and continuous support towards the airline.
Gavoka pointed out that the organisation has a good reputation internationally and credited staff and members for this.
