HFC Bank Stadium officially reopens

The HFC Bank Stadium in Suva officially reopened its doors today after the completion of renovation works to the tracks.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka while officiating at the reopening emphasised the significance of the facility in shaping the landscape of sports in Fiji.

“Since its establishment, the HFC Bank Stadium has served as a beacon of sporting talent, a venue where dreams are forged and champions are made.”

“It is a place where athletes from all walks of life converge to push the boundaries of human potential and inspire generations to come.”

Fiji Sports Council chairman, Gilbert Vakalalabure highlighted the importance of the stadium’s tracks.

“These tracks, renowned for their superior safety, performance, and durability, will not only benefit our athletes but also elevate Fiji’s stature as a hub for regional and international sporting events.”

“It is a testament to the dedication and planning invested in the buildup of this renowned venue,” he said.
