Kamikamica set for 100th NRL appearance

Fiji Bati captain Tui Kamikamica will play his 100th NRL match when he takes the field for the Melbourne Storm against the Manly Sea Eagles on Friday.

In doing so, he will become just the 10th Fijian born player to have played 100 NRL games.

Kamikamica made his NRL debut for the Storm against the Panthers in 2017 and has since continued rto shine in the Australian competition.

The 30-year-old Somosomo, Taveuni native said growing up in the islands, his dream was to at least play one NRL game but to be able to play 100 games for the Storm is a huge honor.

“I’m gonna go out there and try and make my family proud every time I go out there and play, it’s a huge honor to play 100th game for the Storm,” he said.

The match will kick off at 10pm.
