Fiji’s cruiserweight and International Boxing Organization (IBO) Oceania-Orient cruiserweight champion Alivereti Kauyaca is set to fight the biggest test of his boxing career in December.
This is after the South Pacific Boxing Promotions promoter Fredy Chand confirmed that Kauyaca will face off against India’s Number five Kuldeep Singh in the main bout.
Chand revealed that both fighters have signed the contract and will arm battle each other on 9 December at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
Kauyaca, who is ranked Fiji Number 1 became the new International Boxing Organization (IBO) Oceania-Orient cruiserweight champion after beating Sebastian Singh on points after 10 rounds.
Meanwhile, Singh lives in Chandigarh, India and has boxed in 15 fights recording nine wins, five losses and a draw.
In other categories, Oceania and Fiji’s Super welterweight champion Winston Hill will be fighting Jese Ravudi in the middleweight title.
Light heavyweight champion Savenaca Naliva will be fighting against Kolinio Luvelolo while Australia’s Puna Rasaubale will fight against Jonasa Kavika in the heavyweight category.
