Attorney-General Siromi Turaga says they have already advertised the positions of the Solicitor-General and Chief Registrar.
He said as the Minister for Justice and the Attorney-General, his priority is to make sure these two positions are filled.
Turaga said there is no substantive holder of these two positions and that is why the positions have been advertised.
“In due course, that Judicial Services Commission will meet and consider the applications that they are after, in which they will then make recommendations to me as the Attorney-General.
Acting in the position of Chief Registrar is Kashyapa Wickramasekara while the Acting Solicitor General is Preetika Prasad.
