Labasa banks on home support for FACT glory

Labasa Head Coach Ravneel Pratap is urging Babasiga Lions’ supporters to fill up Subrail Park from Friday and back the hosts in the 2024 Digicel Fiji FACT.

Pratap’s message to his players is clear: “Play to the best of your abilities because we are playing in front of our home crowd. We don’t want to upset our hometown.”

With the tournament fast approaching, Pratap emphasised the importance of fitness and team synergy given the intense schedule of three games over the weekend.

“We are focusing heavily on our fitness and our combination play, as this is not just any league game—it’s a major tournament where we have to compete intensely throughout the weekend,” said Pratap.

“Our team morale is high. We have a good mix of senior and young players who are blending well.”

“Do come and watch this Fiji FACT and support the team. If the turnout is good, for sure Fiji FA will be thinking of hosting more tournaments in Labasa,” he pleaded with the home crowd.
