Lami man arrested during joint drug raid

A joint raid conducted by the Fiji Police Force and the Fiji Detector Dog Unit (FDDU) led to the arrest of a man in Lami yesterday.

The man was found with white substances believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine, and dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu said the discoveries were made in the suspect’s vehicle and home in Lami.

The suspect remains in custody at the Lami Police Station.
