Look after SODELPA: Kepa

The Marama Bale Na Roko Tui Dreketi, Ro Teimumu Kepa is hoping that the People’s Alliance and the National Federation Party will look after the interest of the Social Democratic Liberal Party.

The former leader, in a late press conference with Sitiveni Rabuka and Professor Biman Prasad, said SODELPA is confident that they will be looked after well by the two big parties as they have the smallest number of seats in this coalition.

Kepa said the way ahead is not going to be easy.

She also highlighted that the SODELPA Management Board meeting was not easy, as it took them 72 hours to sit through and ensure that they made the right decision.

“It was not an easy decision for the Management Board to take, but I am grateful that this was the decision. Both the People’s Alliance, National Federation Party and the FijiFirst Parties made their case; and in the end, the decision was made.”

She called on the nation to pray as the new coalitions forged a new way forward and bring what the country has been praying for the last 16 years.

Meanwhile, the People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says they are grateful that SODELPA has decided to come with them, and he is sure they will not be disappointed.
