Fiji’s lone Bollywood actor Anil Rai Mani has turned to direction and makes his debut in a soon to be released triangle love story.
The Vatukoula born and raised artist, who has acted in more than five full length Bollywood movies is also in the main lead.
Apart from acting and directing the movie, Mani has also written the story and screenplay of “Kash Who Din” and composed four songs in the movie as well.
Speaking to FijiLive from Mumbai, India, Mani said he is excited to explore and take up multiple roles.
He said the idea of movie direction and song writing popped up during the COVID-19 pandemic when he was stuck at his home in Lautoka and could not travel to India for two years due to restrictions and safety concern.
“I am excited about the movie because the cast and crew have put in a lot of efforts. Everyone has worked very hard and I am certain that both the audiences in Fiji and those overseas will like our work and the movie.”
The teaser of the movie is out and the official promo is expected to be released in the coming days.
