Nadi registers second consecutive win

Nadi registered its second consecutive win in the Digicel Fiji Premier League today after outclassing Nasinu 4-2 at Prince Charles Park.

The Kamal Swamy coached side led 1-0 at the break after Captain William Valentine found the back of the net through a penalty.

The visitors managed to level the scores early in the second half through Ratu Apenisa Anare from the penalty spot.

But two quick goals in succession from youngster Nilkash Singh and Siotame Kubu put the Jetsetters ahead 3-1 midway in the spell.

Nasinu managed to pull one more back from the penalty spot via Solomon Islander Don Keana to keep the pressure on the hosts.

But a brilliant finish by Singh, who got his second for the day, ensured Nadi walked away with maximum points from the encounter.
