Nalaga to make first start for Drua

Young Waqa Nalaga will make his first start for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua when they face the Queensland Reds in Suva on Saturday.

Nalaga, the son of former Flying Fijian utility back Kavekini and younger sibling of winger Napolioni, will feature at inside centre.

The Nadroga speedster will reunite with his Fiji U20 and Manawatu halves partner Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula.Waqa Nalaga 1

In the starting 15, prop Jone Koroiduadua returns from suspension and makes a
shift to loosehead for this week while captain Tevita Ikanivere remains at hooker.

Veteran Mesake Doge is at tighthead prop. Mesake Vocevoce starts again with
locking partner Isoa Nasilasila in the middle row.

The return of Etonia Waqa from injury is welcome news for the Drua as he slots in at blindside flanker.

Kitione Salawa starts again at openside while the rampaging Elia Canakaivata returns
to start at number 8 this week.

Simi Kuruvoli gets a start at halfback this week partnering Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula who is at flyhalf.

Epeli Momo starts on the left wing this week with Selestino Ravutaumada on the right.

Nalaga comes into the run-on team for the first time this season at inside centre.

Iosefo Masi starts at outside centre, while Ilaisa Droasese retains his place at fullback.

On the bench, Coach Mick Byrne has named Mesu Dolokoto as cover at hooker, with props
Emosi Tuqiri and Samu Tawake as loosehead and tighthead props respectively.

Big Te Ahiwaru Cirikidaveta returns to the matchday 23 as replacement lock, while Vilive Miramira will cover for the loose forwards.

Peni Matawalu is back up halfback while Kemu Valetini will provide cover for the inside halves.
