This he says will give impetus to the private sector and improve the economic base our country with the view to provide sustained livelihoods for all Fijians. Speaking to guests at the opening of the third stage of the Wyndham Resort in Denarau today, the Prime Minister said the new Constitution has provided further impetus and confidence since it resolves long outstanding issues and consolidates stability, transparency and a modern approach to the governance of Fiji. He said unprecedented consistency in policies has led to unprecedented levels of foreign reserves, new investments and growth in economic opportunities for all Fijians and recent economic forecast has our growth rates revised upwards to 3.6 percent. The Wyndham group, one the largest hospitality companies in the world invested approximately $50 million for additional 63 apartments in Denarau and this according to the Prime Minister signals not only an enormous vote of confidence in our tourism industry but also the Fijian economy. Wyndham chose Fijian companies, Architects Pacific and Pacific Building Solutions to design and build the apartments. By Reginald Chandar
