The new FNPF/FRCA Joint Identification Card can be used as identification document for customers.
The Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) has notified local financial institutions accordingly.
FIU Director Razim Buksh said the FNPF/FRCA Joint Identification Card has been recognised as one of the primary ID documents under the FTR Regulations.
The FNPF and FRCA began issuing the joint identification card from July 2013.
In August 2012, the FIU also issued a policy directive to the financial institutions to include the Fiji Voter ID Card as a formal ID document under the FTR Act.
