The family owned business was recognised for its continuous contribution to Fiji's tourism sector. Managing director Tony Whitton dedicated the award to all workers in the tourism industry and said the award reflects the hard work and immense contribution of the 50,000+ workers who look after more than 85,000 visitors annually. "The tourism sector indeed is the largest export market of Fiji as we export dreams and bring tourists from all over the world to the country ." "We were not expecting to win tonight and this award indicates government's confidence in our tourism sector." A total of local exporters were recognised at the awards.
