Pleass Beverage and Packaging Ltd (PBP), a Fiji-based food and beverage manufacturing company listed on the South Pacific Stock Exchange gained an operating profit of $916,514 for the year ending December, 2013.

This is an increase of $551,166 compared to profit gained in 2012 after providing an income tax expense of $228,256(2012: $109,018).

The company also announced that they have paid dividends amounting to $120,000 similar to the amount paid out in 2012.

And improving its service, the company last year also opened a branch in Australia known as Vai Wai Australia.

During the year, the company commenced construction of a water bottling plant at Nabukavesi estate at a value of approximately $7m.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
