Kapoor, Khan arrive tomorrow for shows Famous Bollywood stars, Tusshar Kapoor and Zarine Khan jet into the country tomorrow for two shows in Suva and Nadi this week.

Kapoor, the son of Bollywood actor Jeetendra and producer Shobha Kapoor has acted in over 30 films and was liked for his comic roles in the Golmaal 1,2 and 3.

Khan, a model turned actress made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan in Veer in 2013 and has also acted in movies like Ready and Houseful 2. 

Also arriving with the pair are Ali Asgar- the famous comedian from the Comedy Nights with Kapil television show, Indian vocalist and guitarist Lucky String and Australian MC, Hamish.

Show promoter Anesh Mishra told FijiLive that all preparations have been completed and they are ready to entertain the people of Fiji with quality shows.

"All the preparations are done and we are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of the stars. They arrive here at around 8.15am and will get busy with their rehearsals and preparations."

He said the artists will be accorded a traditional Fijian welcome at Sabeto Village in the evening where they will also get to learn about the indigenous way of life here.

"The stars are looking forward to this event and they are really excited to learn about the Fijian way of life and the cultures that exist here."

Mishra said they will also be holding two ticketed events prior to the shows to allow the Fijian audience to meet the stars in person over dinner and drinks.

"This is the first time this is done in Fiji. Normally people just watch the stars in shows but cannot meet them in person. We have organised two press conferences and ticketed meet and greet events for the members of the public where they can mingle freely with the artists, enjoy dinner, take photos and so on."

"The first event will be at the Nadi Event Centre on Wednesday and the second event will be at the Novotel Convention Centre in Lami on Thursday. Tickets are $120."

"The shows are affordably priced as well with tickets ranging from $20 for the Suva show and $15 for the Nadi show. We will give the audiences 3 and half hours of solid entertainment," he added.

Apart from three stars, various local artists and groups will also be part of the show.

These include dual voice singer Abdul, Elena Baravilala, Eddie Wilson, Muanikoso Dance Group, Masti Dance Group and a Magic and Fire Dance Group.

A fashion show will also take place during the interval of the shows.

All the dances and acts on stage will be choreographed by Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Hiwark who has been working with local performers for over a week now.

The Bula Desi Show will be held on January 9 at the Vodafone Arena in Suva and at Nadi's Prince Charles Park on January 10.
