Chief executive of ANZ Bank for Fiji and Pacific, Vishnu Mohan has been appointed the chairman of the Public Service Commission.
Pursuant to section 125 (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Fiji and acting on the advice of the Constitutional Offices Commission, His Excellency the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau appointed Mr Mohan and five other members of PSC.
The five appointed members include commercial lawyer Ms Bhavna Narayan, Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation chief executive Mr Nesbitt Hazelman, businessman and member of the Fiji Manufacturers Association Mr Daksesh Patel, businessman and member of the Textile, Clothing and Footwear Council Mr Kalpesh Solanki and USP academic Dr Akanisi Kedreyaki who is already a serving member of the Commission.
Mr Mohan and the five members have been appointed for a term of 3 years.
