BSP invests $16m in new service

BSP invests $16m in new service The Bank of the South Pacific has invested FJD $16m to offer a new and fast tracked service to its Fijian customers.

BSP country manger Kevin McCarthy said the new service which is called BEST is targeted at being the best core banking system in Fiji.

He said the service which will be launched next month will bring about various benefits to their customers in terms of speed and efficiency.

McCarthy said the BEST service will allow an ease in doing transactions and make their ATMs and EFTPOS machines more reliable while personal loans will be approved on a on-the-spot basis with customers having their personal loan approved and deposited into their accounts within 20 minutes.

He added that BSP believes in innovation and bringing new and exciting products to the customers and in their team have worked hard in the last 24 months to get the BEST service completed.
