BSP to extend Life, Finance to the region Bank South Pacific (BSP) is planning to extend its Life Insurance and Finance products to the newly acquired branches in the region.

BSP Group chief executive Robin Fleming said the two products have been performing exceptionally well in Fiji and in the next short to medium term, they will be looking at introducing the products in other branches in the Pacific.

BSP Life managing director Malakai Naiyaga said they always had a strategic intent to offer their products to the region and their insurance arm of the bank is ready to offer the best service to customers.

BSP Finance general manager Krishna Raju said they are also excited to offer their services to the region.

He said BSP finance has BSP Finance since opening its doors in October last year has been performing well and the growing demand for their services will see them open a branch in Nadi next month and there are plans to open a branch in Lautoka next year.

On July 10, BSP completed sales of Australia’s Westpac groups operations for $91m and became the new owners of Westpac businesses in Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga.

This added on to BSP’s existing businesses in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Fiji.
