Surfaces announce new album Horizons Texas based duo Surfaces have announced their new album, Horizons, set for release on February 28, on the back of their breakout single Sunday Best.

Horizons is sure to be at the top of everyone’s feel-good vacation playlists.

“This past year has been absolutely insane for us and we can’t wait to see what 2020 has in store for us,” says Surfaces. “With our new album Horizons, we wanted to break away from any expectations or norms and our hope is to challenge the uniformity of a regular concept album.  For this project, we took influences from multiple decades and reimagined them in order to repaint these emotions in a modern musical pallet. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”

Horizons includes the previously released tracks Keep it Gold, Lazy, Good Day and Bloom.

Sunny days. Ocean breezes. Sandy shores. Leafy palm trees.  Cool jazzy sounds spiked with pop, hip-hop, reggae, soul, calypso, even some street-corner swing, all in the service of positive vibes, spiritual uplift and “don’t worry, be happy” fun.  Look beyond those alluring, seductive Surfaces, though, and that’s where the three-dimensional musical depth of the band’s principals, Colin Padalecki and Forrest Frank, truly shines through.  The pair have increasingly meshed their individual talents into one impressive whole.

After two self-produced albums, Surf and Where the Light Is, the duo is continuing to share their optimistic vibes with Horizons.
