Dr Fong in an announcement said she presented herself to a medical facility last Friday due to shortness of breath and chest pain.

“She was retrieved by a medical team to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital. She was assessed by specialists and her baby was safely delivered by emergency caesarean section,” he said.

“Sadly, her condition worsened and she died five days after admission, Wednesday. She was not vaccinated.

“A medical team retrieved her from the medical facility to Colonial War Memorial Hospital. Her condition worsened at the health facility and she died 11 days after admission,” she said.

“Her family reported that she had a cough, fever, shortness of breath and a reduced appetite one week prior. She was not vaccinated.
