In a social media post, he said he hopes his flight on Saturday goes ahead as the Samoan Government has extended its national lockdown until Thursday due to new coronavirus confirmed cases. “Due to the unfolding coronavirus situations in Samoa our flight was delayed to this week. We are hoping that our flight for Saturday goes ahead as plan,” he said. “My special thanks to the Nauru president Lionel Aingimea and the people for their love and hospitality. My deepest gratitude is towards the people of Nauru. “The President, the Government and the people adopted us as their own and our prayers are always with Nauru. Love their motto God's Will First. “A special thank you to all the University of the South Pacific students and staff of our Nauru Campus for being amazing hosts, we will miss you all,” he said.
